Both Bulgaria and Greece have an inordinate number of stray cats, so I thought I would pay tribute to them here. Most of them hang around restaurants and other eateries looking for scraps. Almost all of these photos were taken on the fly with my phone, the ageing Nokia N8.

Most of them look healthy and must be pretty friendly for you to get up that close to them with a phone camera. Hope that they will find homes or at least live a pretty good life on the streets. That little dog reminds me of one of mine. So cute. Thank you for caring about these animals and sharing them here.
