During my short stay in Wales I visited the magnificent Powis Castle And Garden, managed by the National Trust. A truly spectacular place with epic views from its garden across the beautifully green Welsh countryside. The gardens have meticulously tended terraces and flower beds, teeming with life, including a peacock family. Photography was not allowed inside the castle but do take my word for it that it was abundant in opulent and ornate splendour. Little wonder that HRH Prince Charles would spend so much time here. All these images were taken outside in the gardens and mostly with the Olympus 12-40mm F/2.8 and a couple with the 40-150mm F/2.8, each mounted on the E-M5.
