In the hills above Hebden Bridge is the small but picturesque village of Heptonstall. Boasting some fantastic views over the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, Heptonstall is also home to the oldest Methodist church still in use, founded in 1764. It also has ruins of it's original church, established in 1260 but destroyed by a gale in 1847.A small village with a prodigious history, Hepstonstall was a great place to stop by and walk through its little cobbled streets.All images taken with the Olympus 12-40mm F/2.8 and 40-150mm F/2.8.

Picturesque doesn't even start to describe these. What a great set of photos. I love the arches and how you've framed other parts of the ruins in them. Very enjoyable!
