Along our travels in South America, one of the many bonuses was the plethora of wildlife, both animal and plant, that we encountered. Everything from coatis to caiman, butterflies to birds, there was no end of spectacular species to see. Butterflies in particular were big and beautiful, with lustrous wings fluttering in the scorching sunlight. They were barely still for a moment.The primates were the highlight for me. Monkeys in the forest at Iguassu and the cute marmosets that joined us from their trees at breakfast in Paraty.All the images here were taken with the mainly the Olympus 40-150mm F/2.8 and a few with the 12-40mm F/2.8, mounted on the EM-5.
