So, yesterday evening, several other photographers and myself met up in London with Nasim Mansurov from Photography Life for a photo walk. He is visiting the UK from the USA.We started at Trafalgar Square, making our way down the Strand, across Waterloo Bridge and then finally along the South Bank, before stopping to eat at a Waterloo chip shop. These were my images below, all shot with the Olympus EM5 and 45mm F/1.8. I must thank Nasim, as I'm sure all the other fellow photo-walkers do, for organising the meet and for his generous time and help with everyone's photography. I think we all had a great time and very much appreciated his help and insights.

wow! great stuff. Hard to pick a favorite but I love Westminster Abbey, what a fresh look and the skateboarder and the 2 portraits. Wonderful compositions and color.

Hi AW, I was on the same walk-well I think i was; had all the gear, but no idea. You have a very good photographer's eye and saw things that I didn't. I like the use of reflections, shooting high and low, your post processing and discipline of just using a 45mm lens! I might post one or two images - do you give tutorials? This may seem like a tongue-in-cheek remark, but I am serious.

Hi Martin. Thank you for your kind words! As you know, photography is a practical art, so rather than giving written tutorials (of which there are many excellent ones on the net), I tend to just get out and shoot. Practice makes...better :)
You'll see from my blog that I often do photo walks and challenges around London, so you're very welcome to join us next time I do so. We always learn and see something new. :)
