Only a few minutes from Hebden Bridge is the beautiful woodland area of Hardcastle Crags, managed by the National Trust. Walking along the pristine river through patches of dense bluebells, we found our way to Gibson Mill, once used in Dickensian times to produce cotton. It is now a self-sufficient mill, off the grid and generating all its own power. Continuing on from the mill we hiked up into the hills to take in some views before finding Lumb Falls furtively nestled below. Apparently a favourite spot for skinny-dippers, I was fortunate to have the place to myself briefly enough to get some shots.All images taken with the Olympus 12-40mm F/2.8.
