I accompanied my good friend Jena to Whipsnade Zoo last week, and have presented some of her photos here.
Whipsnade, although a little quiet when we were there compared to my previous visit, is a really excellent wildlife park with terrific spacious enclosures for the animals, and very helpful and friendly staff. The park is big enough to drive or walk around, and has some stunning views over the Bedfordshire countryside.
One of the zoos latest additions is a new baby Asiatic elephant, but they have successfully bred many animals.
Jena managed some great shots of the animals, especially of the wolves and the macro subjects.
